My Costs: Added a third toon to my 2007 boat for $4000. Included shipping to dealer, installation, remounting of motor etc. The factory also rerated boat up to a 225hp. To add a new 150hp cost about 12500. My old engine and rigging is worth maybe 5500 to 6000. Thus another say 7000 net cost for new engine.Not any more. A center pontoon should give me a couple more mph and a little more buoyancy. Now if I can re-engineer the mount and smack on a 300 Verado…. or maybe not. My blessing is that there is a local pontoon fabricator that can do the build.
